Support via Referals

There are other support organisations in Reading that people can be referred to including Readifood (food parcels) and Firstdays (for babies and children - essential equipment, school uniform). Referals can be from a professionals such as GPs, Health Visitors, Teachers, Social Workers, Housing Officers, Childcare Workers, someone at the Council or Jobcentre.

You can donate money or items - Readifood has collection points at supermarkets including Waitrose, Oxford Rd and Tesco Extra.

Firstdays welcome donations of certain items on specific days such as cots, pushchairs etc. Please check their website.
